CE03: Pillars of Learning: Strategy

Developing, Updating & Advancing Your Learning Strategy

Tuesday, September 30 • 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Learning leader session

Your learning strategy defines how your organization will develop the skills and knowledge that your organization needs to thrive—now and into the future. It must align with critical business goals while meeting learners’ needs and enabling them to acquire the skills they need to succeed. In turbulent times, businesses struggle to keep employees skilled while meeting their goals amid changing economic and cultural circumstances.

Pillars of Learning: Strategy, a full-day pre-conference event, will help you create a learning strategy or update your existing approach for today’s environment. Attendees will:

  • Explore how creating and implementing a learning strategy that aligns with key business objectives can position L&D as an essential component of organizational strategy
  • Consider how to identify current skills and knowledge; define skills gaps and anticipate the skills and knowledge that will be needed in the future; and plan pathways to build necessary skills and knowledge
  • Ensure that your learning strategy aligns with and advances overarching business goals and priorities and achieves the results that senior leaders expect
  • Learn how to effectively communicate the value and potential impact of your learning strategy to senior leaders and gain their support
  • Collaborate with other attendees as you work through case studies and devise an implementation plan tailored for your role as an individual contributor, manager, or executive

Registration is open! Join Pillars of Learning: Strategy to invest in your L&D team’s future success.
