Pre-Conference Learning

CE02: Pillars of Learning: Technology

Implementation Strategies for AI & Emerging Technologies

Tuesday, September 30 • 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

New and emerging technologies are transforming the way we work and redefining the skills our organizations need now and will need in the future. Learning leaders need to take a holistic look at AI and other emerging tools and technologies to understand which ones fit into today’s learning ecosystems and how to prepare for what is next.

This full-day pre-conference event is an exploration of new technologies and an opportunity to learn from peers and experts on adapting workflows and strategies to leverage next-gen technology. Attendees will examine four topic areas touching on learning technology:

1. Intelligent Automation (IA)
Unlike content-focused AI, Intelligent Automation transforms business operations by automating complex, decision-based tasks. From processing insurance claims to supporting clinical diagnoses, IA improves efficiency, reduces errors, and reshapes how work gets done. We’ll explore how learning leaders can prepare their organizations and talent strategies for the rise of intelligent automation.

2. Generative AI
Explore how cutting-edge AI tools—from GenAI-enabled text, media, and graphics to personalized learning materials and AI-powered coaching—are transforming the learning function. We’ll examine where these tools add value, where human expertise remains critical, and how learning leaders can integrate generative AI responsibly and effectively.

3. Data & Analytics
Data is at the heart of effective learning strategies. This topic focuses on how to harness learning data to understand learner behaviors, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. We’ll explore practical approaches to building a strong data foundation and translating insights into action.

4. Platforms & Learning Ecosystem
The modern learning tech stack goes far beyond a single LMS. Explore how platforms, tools, and integrations come together to create a cohesive learning ecosystem that supports formal, informal, and on-the-job learning. We’ll cover strategies for building a scalable, flexible ecosystem that aligns with business goals and enhances the learner experience.

Registration is open! Join Pillars of Learning: Technology to expand your understanding of AI and emerging technologies and their impact on your L&D team.
